Always becoming.
Never finished.
I work between disciplines.
Between the physical and digital.
Between an idea and its next iteration.
Making connections.
Then making
something happen.
I’m Anson Aswat, working as ansonanimus. My practice moves through design, creative coding, 3D worlds, sonic experiments and tangible media.
I begin with a thought, a sketch, a question. Then I build, add, remove and evolve. Line, shape, pattern, symmetry, space, colour and texture become tools for making an experience feel alive.
I design across Web 2.0, Web 3.0 and Web 4.0, bringing front-end design, interaction, world-building and immersive experiences into one evolving practice.
These labels describe the trajectory of my practice, from the web to connected worlds and immersive space.
Ideas taking form.
Visual studies interpret each project. Process notes are drawn from the artist’s journal.
“Most of my personal projects are never really completed, they are just the iteration I stopped on.”
Creativity happens organically. I work across disciplines, using design principles as a shared language and simple rules as a starting point.
I see open-source and decentralised technologies as possibilities for broader access to new media, XR and spatial computing. My practice asks how these tools might evolve in a social as well as a technological context.
Cycles of
belonging.
An imagined calendar beneath a living sky. Enter your birthday to discover an original animal constellation, drawn in stars across the Milky Way and colourful auroras.
My wife and son are Indigenous. This exploration grows from a personal desire to listen, learn and reflect on our family’s relationship with land, sky and the passage of time.
A fictional cosmology reflecting on the survival of Indigenous knowledge through colonial violence and cultural erasure. The twelve animal signs, stories and birthday associations are original inventions, not any nation’s traditional teachings.
